Providence’s Brian Doyle Named Corvias ECAC Men’s Cross Country Athlete Of The Week


Brian Doyle finished third at the Coast-to-Coast Battle-In-Beantown.


Providence, R.I. – It was announced on Wednesday, Oct. 1 that senior Brian Doyle (Swansea, Mass.) was named co-winner of the Corvias ECAC Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week.


Doyle earned the honor after finishing third at the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown at Franklin Park in Boston, Mass., on Friday, Sept. 26. Doyle finished the 8km course in a time of 24:27.0 and helped the Friars secure a third-place team finish.


The Friars will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 11 for the New England Championships at Franklin Park.
