Julian Oakley Named BIG EAST Track Athlete of the Week
Oakley earned the honor after posting 3:42.99 in the 1,500 meters at the Wolf Pack Last Chance meet.

New York, N.Y. - Providence track senior Julian Oakley (Tauranga, New Zealand) was named BIG EAST Track Athlete of the Week today (May 10).

Oakley earned the honor for the first time this season after posting 3:42.99 in the 1,500 meters at the Wolf Pack Last Change meet in North Carolina on Saturday (May 7). His time was a personal best performance and ranks 21st in the East Region.

Oakley and the Friars will return to action at the BIG EAST Championships on May 13-14 in Geneva, Ohio.
