<st1:PlaceType w:st="on">Park</st1:PlaceType> course record and led the #7 <st1:place w:st="on">
<st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Providence</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">College</st1:PlaceType></st1:place> women’s cross country team to first place at the Central Connecticut State Invitational.

<st1:country-region w:st="on">New Zealand</st1:country-region></st1:place>) who broke the course record in his own right, taking first overall as the #14 Friar men grabbed second as a team.

<st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Louisville</st1:place></st1:City>, and several members of both teams were idle.

<p style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">The women’s race was dominated by the Friars’ two All-Americans. Greany and Sisson completed the 3-kilometer run in first and second place, respectively. The pair both crossed
in 10:06, two seconds better than the course record, set by Friar teammate Mary Kate Champagne (<st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Plattsburg</st1:City>,
<st1:State w:st="on">N.Y.</st1:State></st1:place>) last fall. </font></p>

<st1:State w:st="on">Mass.</st1:State>) was seventh in 10:31, just ahead of classmate Devyn Pryor’s (<st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Dartmouth</st1:City>,
<st1:State w:st="on">Mass.</st1:State></st1:place>) 11<sup>th</sup>-place time of 10:44.

<st1:State w:st="on">N.Y.</st1:State></st1:place>) rounded out the scoring in 16<sup>th</sup> place, crossing in 10:56.

<p style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><font size="3"><font face="Times New Roman">On the men’s side, Wallace stormed through the 5K in a new course record of 14:46, nine seconds faster than the previous mark, and seven seconds faster than the next

<st1:place w:st="on"><st1:State w:st="on">Conn.</st1:State></st1:place>) and Corey Brunelle were fourth and fifth, respectively, crossing in 15:13 and 15:18. Classmate Ed Jennings (<st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">New York</st1:City>,
<st1:State w:st="on">N.Y.</st1:State></st1:place>) was 29<sup>th</sup> with a posting of 16:23, and junior Nik Rebovich (New Hartford, N.Y.) sealed the scoring with a 34<sup>th</sup>-place time of 16:29.
