<p><b>KINGSTON, R.I. -</b> The Providence College women’s indoor track and field team competed at the URI Coaches Invitational yesterday (Feb. 1). </p>
<p><br>
</p>
<p>In the 800 meter run, the Friars saw sophomores Molly Keating (Rehoboth, Mass.) and Devyn Pryor (Dartmouth, Mass.) capture second and third place, respectively. Keating posted a time of 2:17.08, while Pryor finished the race in a time of 2:18.16.</p>

<p>Senior Jackie McCarthy (New Rochelle, N.Y.) took first in the 1000 meter run, with an ECAC qualifying and personal-best time of 2:53.98.</p>

<p>In the one mile run, Providence captured its second win of the meet. Senior Grace Thek (Melbourne, Australia) finished first with an ECAC qualifying time of 4:58.99.</p>

<p>Senior Erin Murphy (Easton, Mass.) and sophomore Lauren Mullins (Binghamton, N.Y.) competed in the 3000 meter run, where the two placed first and second, respectively. Murphy finished in a time of 10:06.48, while Mullins crossed the finish line in a time
of 10:32.26. </p>

<p>The Friars also placed second in the distance medley relay with a time of 12:23.22. </p>

</p>
<p>Providence is back in action Friday, Feb. 7 in Boston Mass. at the Valentine Invitational. The meet is set to begin at noon.</p>
