<p><strong>PROVIDENCE, R.I.</strong> – The Providence College men's track and field team competed at the Brown Springtime Invitational today (April 27). Freshman Trevor Crawley (Cumberland, R.I.) led the Friars in the 5000 meter run with a first-place finish.
</p>

<p>Crawley and the Friars took all top-four positions on the day. Crawley was joined by classmate Jake Feinstein (Sandy Hook, Conn.) as well as sophomore Stephen Robertson (Wakefield, Mass.) in posting personal-best performances.
</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Crawley finished in a time of 14:40.47, while Feinstein was second in a time of 14:55.68. Robertson was third (14:58.30), while classmate Christian Costello (Ridgewood, N.J.) rounded out the top-four individuals with a time of 14:59.35.<br>

<p>In the 800 meter run, freshman James Campbell (Cumberland, Maine) captured third with a personal-best performance of 1:55.55.
</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Senior javelin specialist Patrick Bowler (Westwood. Mass.) finished second overall with a throw of 48.11 meters.
</p>

<p>The Friars are back in action with the Payton Jordan Cardinal Invitational on May 4 in Palo Alto, Calif.
</p>
