<p><strong>STANFORD, Calif. –</strong> Senior Laura Nagel (Napier, New Zealand) of the Providence College women's track and field team competed at the Payton Jordan Invitational in Stanford, Calif. yesterday (May 4). Nagel competed in the 5000 meter run, where
she placed 24<sup>th</sup>. </p>
<p> </p>
<p>Nagel's time of 15:58.33 was an ECAC Championship qualifying time as well as a top-13 time in the Northeast Region.
</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Nagel and the Friars return to action with the BIG EAST Championships from May 10-11 in Villanova, Pa.
