<p><strong>BOSTON, Mass. - </strong>The Providence College women's cross country team finished sixth at the Coast-to-Coast Battle In Beantown on Sept. 26. Sophomore Catarina Rocha (Peabody, Mass.) finished 13<sup>th</sup> and was the first Friar to cross the
finish. Rocha finished the 5km course in a time of 17:23.0.<br>

<p>The second Friar to cross the line was freshman Katie Lembo (Penfield, N.Y.). Lembo finished 17<sup>th</sup> in a time of 17:28.0. Junior Lauren Mullins (Binghamton, N.Y.) was the third Friar across the line in 46th–place (18:02.0).<br>

<p>The freshman duo of Brianna Ilarda (Perth, Australia) and Mackenzie Barry (Mendham, N.J.) came across the line together (18:16.0) in 67<sup>th</sup> and 68<sup>th</sup>, respectively.

<p>Rounding out the top seven scorers, senior Julie Solimine (Haverhill, Mass.) finished the course in a time of 18:56.0 for 111<sup>th</sup>, while junior Molly Keating (Rehoboth, Mass.) finished 123<sup>rd</sup> (19:14.0).<br>

<p>“Given that freshman Brianna Ilarda got into trouble over the last 400 meters of the race, the result was satisfactory,” said head coach Ray Treacy. “With everyone running as well as they did today, plus Bri, we will look forward to a very positive performance
at Wisconsin.”<br>

<p>The Friars will be back to Franklin Park for the New England Championships on Saturday, Oct. 11. The meet is set to start at 12:00 p.m.<br>
