<p><strong>PROVIDENCE, R.I. – </strong>The Providence College women's cross country team earned a spot in the national poll announced on Tuesday, Sept. 30. The women earned a 20<sup>th</sup> –place ranking after their performance at the Coast-to-Coast Battle
In Beantown at Franklin Park in Boston, Mass. on Sept. 26. </p>

<p>The women are also ranked fourth in the Northeast Region. The Friars have been ranked in the top-20 all season long.

<p>The Friars will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 11 for the New England Championships at Franklin Park. Races will commence at 12:00 p.m.
