<p><strong>PROVIDENCE, R.I.</strong> – It was announced on Wednesday, Oct. 15 that junior Julian Oakley (Tauranga, New Zealand) was named co-winner of the Corvias ECAC Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week.<br>

<p>Oakley earned the honor after finishing second at the 2014 New England Championships at Franklin Park in Boston, Mass., on Saturday, Oct. 11. Oakley finished the 8km course in a time of 24:34.48 and helped the Friars tie the meet with Brown.</p>

<p>The Friars will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 18 for the Wisconsin Adidas Invitational in Madison, Wis.
