<strong style="font-size: 16pt;">Providence’s Julian Oakley Competes At 2015 NCAA Indoor Championships</strong><br>
<strong>Julian Oakley finished sixth in the second semifinal of the men’s mile.</strong></p>

<p><strong>Fayetteville, Ark.</strong> – Providence College junior Julian Oakley (Tauranga, New Zealand) competed in his first ever NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships today (Friday, March 13) in Fayetteville, Ark.
<br>
<br>
Oakley finished sixth in the second semi-final of the mile in a time of 4:00.25. To advance to the final Oakley needed to finish in the top-four of his heat for an automatic qualifying sport or have one of the two next fastest times in either semi-final. Oakley
was .25 seconds outside the last spot to advance. <br>
<br>
With his finish, Oakley claims an overall 11<sup>th</sup>-place finish, earning Second-Team All-America honors. The honor is his first All-America accolade.
