<strong style="font-size: 20pt;">Providence College Men’s and Women’s Track Sweep BIG EAST Weekly Awards</strong><br>
<strong>Shane Quinn and Lauren Mullins were named BIG EAST Track Athletes of the Week.

<p><strong>NEW YORK, N.Y.</strong> – It was announced today (Tuesday, March 31) by the BIG EAST Conference that senior Shane Quinn (Waterford, Ireland) and junior Lauren Mullins (Binghamton, N.Y.) were named BIG EAST Track Athletes of the Week for their performances
at the Raleigh Relays in Raleigh, N.C. over the weekend (March 27).<br>
<br>
Quinn earned the honor for his 15th-place finish in the 5,000 meters at Raleigh Relays, crossing the line in a time of 14:08.99. <br>
<br>
Mullins received BIG EAST Female Track Athlete of the Week for yet another personal-best performance. She placed ninth in the 5,000 meters with a four-second personal best time of 16:16.94.

<br>
Both Quinn and Mullins ran times that would have qualified them for last year’s NCAA First Round.
<br>

The Friars are back in action on Friday, April 10 for the Friar Invitational. The meet is set to kick-off at 5:00 p.m. at the Ray Treacy Track. For more information,
