line-height:115%">Providence College Men’s And Women’s Cross Country Hold Regional Rankings Positions</span><br>
The women remained ranked as the No. 1 contender in the Northeast Region, while the men hold their third-place spot. <br>

<b>PROVIDENCE, R.I.</b> – The U.S. Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released its regional rankings today (Sept. 14). The Providence College women held their No. 1 ranking from the Aug. 31 poll, while the men remain ranked at No.
3. <br>
<br>
After the first two races of the season, the men and women are undefeated. Each team won both the UNH Tri-Meet (Sept. 5) and Bryant’s Nassaney Invitational (Sept. 12). The men swept the top-5 spots at UNH and finished with five runners in the top-13 at Bryant.
The women captured five of the top-6 spots at UNH and then swept the top-5 at the Nassaney Invitational.<br>

The women will return to action on Sept. 25 when they travel to Boston, Mass. for the Coast-to-Coast Battle In Beantown. Next up for the men will be the Princeton Invitational in Princeton, N.J. on Oct. 3.
