- The Providence College men’s and women’s track teams sent student-athletes to both the Colonial Relays in Williamsburg, Va. and the Stanford Invitational in California this week.

of the 5,000 meters for 14th (16:19.67). Fellow classmate Katie Lembo (Penfield, N.Y.) also competed in the same race, finishing 16th in a time of 16:25.26.

Shane Quinn (Waterford, Ireland) each competed in the men’s 5,000 meters. Mann finished with a time of 13:56.02 for 12th in section one, while Quinn finished 12th in section three of the men’s 5,000 meters (14:12.31).</span></p>

County Mayo, Ireland) ran a huge 39-second personal best in section two of the men’s 10,000 meters with a time of 29:16.73. Hugh’s performance marked the seventh-best 10,000 meters in the history of the men’s program.

(Mendham, N.J.) dipped under 17 minutes (16:59.34) for the first time in the women’s 5,000 meters for eighth place.</span></p>

New Zealand) and Harvey Dixon (Gibraltar, Gibraltar) finished eighth (3:48.67) and ninth (3:49.40), respectively, in the 1,500 meters, while freshman Nick Carleo (Newburyport, Mass.) earned 15th-place in a time of 3:52.44.</span></p>
