</b>The Providence College men’s and women’s Track teams competed at the IC4A/ECAC Championships at Boston University on March 4. The Friars had four athletes compete in preliminary heats on the first day.

<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Cambria;">Freshman Alexandra DeCicco (Holtsville, N.Y.) highlighted the first day of competition with her race in the 1,000-meter prelims. DeCicco finished fourth in the second heat with a lifetime
best time of 2:51.09. Based on her time, DeCicco advanced to the final and will race on the second day of the ECAC Championships.

<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Cambria;">Senior James Campbell (Cumberland, Maine) also had a strong performance by finishing fourth in his heat of the 800 meters with a lifetime best time of 1:51.89. Campbell missed qualifying
for the finals by .46 seconds.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Cambria;">Providence returns for Day Two of the IC4A/ECAC Championships on March 5 for the finals of the women’s 1,000 meters and the men’s and women’s 3,000-meters. The 1,000 will take place
at 1:15 p.m. The women’s 3,000-meter race is set to start at 1:40, followed by the men at 2:00.
