 Bulldog program after having spent the last eight years as head Cross Country and assistant Track and Field coach at Auburn University.</span></p>

 at Providence. He was a six time All-American and won the 5,000 meters at the 1995 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships. He twice finished in the top three at the NCAA Cross Country Championships, finishing second in 1995 and third in 1992. Carroll holds
 the Providence record in the outdoor 5,000 meters (13:13.94) and the outdoor 1,500 meters (3:36.52). He was inducted into the Providence Athletic Hall of Fame in 2008.
