Freshman Chris Shananhan (Westwood, Mass.) was one of the highlights of the weekend as he broke the school record in javelin. Shanahan’s best throw was good for 60.36 meters and currently ranks first in the BIG EAST. The throw bested the previous school record
of 59.05 meters that was set by Stephen Justus in 2009. <o:p></o:p></p>

Junior Nick Carleo (Newburyport, Mass.) impressed with his performance in the 1,500 meters. Carleo won the race with a new personal best time of 3:45.20. The time currently ranks fifth in the BIG EAST.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">
