Providence College Men's Track Wraps-Up Competition At IC4A

The Friars had Vercollone capture second in the 1000 meter final.



BOSTON, Mass. - The Providence College men's track and field team wrapped-up competition at the IC4A Championships in Boston, Mass. Sunday, March 9 at Boston University.



Sophomore Joseph Vercollone (Pembroke, Mass.) competed in the 1000 meter run finals, where he finished second overall with a time of 2:25.59. Vercollone's time and place earned Providence eight points toward their overall team score.



Providence finished 12th overall out of 41 teams with 24 points.



The Friars will return to action with their first outdoor meet of the season on March 29 at the Stonybrook Quad meet. The meet will kick-off at 1:00 p.m. in Stonybrook, N.Y. ?
