Jordan Mann Named BIG EAST Track Athlete of the Week
Mann recorded the fourth fastest all-time 5,000 meters by a Providence runner at the BU Season Opener over the weekend.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The BIG EAST Conference announced its first indoor track weekly honors today (Dec. 8) to kick-off the indoor season. Among the four honorees, graduate-student Jordan Mann (St. Louis, Mo.) was named BIG EAST Indoor Male Track Athlete of the Week.

Mann earned the honor after his 13:53 performance in the 5,000 meters at the BU Season Opener on Dec. 5. The time marked the fourth fastest all-time 5,000 meters by a Providence runner.

Mann and the Friars will return to action on Jan. 16 when they head to URI for the URI Sorlien Invitational.
