Ray Treacy Named Northeast Region Women’s Cross Country Coach Of The Year
The USTFCCCA announced the Regional Coaches of the Year today.

Providence, R.I. – The United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the Regional Athletes and Coaches of the Year today (Nov. 17). Among the honorees, Providence College women’s cross country head coach Ray Treacy was named the Northeast Regional Women’s Cross Country Coach of the Year.

This season, Treacy has coached the women’s team to its seventh BIG EAST Cross Country Team Title in program history, as well as the third NCAA Northeast Regional Championship in the last four years. The Friars also have won all but one meet this season heading into the NCAA Championship this weekend (Nov. 21).
