Providence College Women’s Cross Country Ranked No. 8, Men No. 24 In The Nation
The women will compete at the Coast-to-Coast Battle In Beantown on Sept. 25, while the men will race at the Princeton Invitational on Oct. 3.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The U.S. Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released its second national poll of the season today (Sept. 22). The Providence College women held their preseason and first week ranking of No. 8, while the men improved by one for a No. 24 ranking in the nation.

In addition to their national rankings, the women remain as the No. 1 ranked contender in the Northeast Region, while the men sit at No. 3.

The women will return to action at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 25 when they travel to Franklin Park in Boston, Mass. for the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown. The men will compete the following weekend (Oct. 3) at the Princeton Invitational in Princeton, N.J.
