Emily Sisson Named Eastern Track 2015 College Woman Of The Year
Emily Sisson becomes the second Providence woman to be named Eastern Track Athlete Of The Year.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - It was announced on January 5, that Providence Alum Emily Sisson was named Eastern Track 2015 College Woman of the Year. Sisson becomes the second Providence athlete to be honored after Kim Smith earned the honor in 2004.

Sisson received the accolade for her 2015 performances, including both NCAA 5,000 meter titles indoors and outdoors, as well as breaking Eastern records in the 5,000 meters indoors (15:12.22) and the 10,000 meters outdoors (31:38.03).
