Brianna Ilarda Advances To Steeplechase Final At NCAA Outdoor Championships
Ilarda finished sixth in her heat in a time of 10:00.02 to advance on time to the NCAA Championship final of the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase.

Eugene, Ore. - Providence College women's track sophomore Brianna Ilarda (Perth Australia) competed at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championship tonight in the women's 3,000 meter steeplechase semifinal in Eugene, Ore.

Ilarda made her way up the field over the course of the race to finish sixth-place in the first of two semifinals. She ran a time of 10:00.02 to advance on time to the final in her first ever NCAA Outdoor Championship appearance.

The women's 3,000-meter steeplechase final is scheduled for a 6:54 p.m. ET start on June 11. ESPN will broadcast the event live starting at 6:30 p.m.
