Jordan Mann Earns Second-Team All-America Honors At NCAA Outdoor Championships
Mann finished seventh in the second semifinal of the men's 3,000 meter steeplechase and 15th overall to earn Second Team All-America honors.

Eugene, Ore. - Providence College men's track graduate-student Jordan Mann (St. Louis, Mo.) competed at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championship Finals last night in Eugene, Ore.

After a fall early on in the race, Mann came back to finish seventh in the second semifinal of the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase and 15th overall in a time of 8:48.05. With his top-16 finish, Mann earned Second Team All-America honors. The honor marks his first All-America accolade to cap off his collegiate career.

The Friars will return to the track today with sophomore Brianna Ilarda (Perth, Australia) set to compete in the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase semifinals at 8:02 p.m. EST.
