 Nick Carleo Named BIG EAST Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.

NEW YORK, N.Y. - The BIG EAST announced that Providence College Indoor Track sophomore Nick Carleo (Newburyport, Mass.) earned BIG EAST Track Athlete of the Week honors on January 31.

Carleo earned the honor after finishing 10th overall in the mile at the Boston University Terrier Invitational on January 28. Armstrong raced to a three second personal best, running 4:04.53. His time is currently the fastest in the BIG EAST and 36th fastest in the nation.

The Friars return to action at the URI Coaches Invitational on Feb. 4.
