                For those of you that had not heard, the Providence College community and the Friar Cross Country family lost one of its finest on September 1, 2011 when former coach Raymond J. Hanlon passed away. Ray Hanlon served as the Head Men's Cross Country and Track and Field Coach from 1961-1970 and played an instrumental role in the formation and success of the Cross Country program here at Providence College.  Our deepest condolences go out to the Hanlon family during this difficult time.
