Providence College's Emily Sisson Claims All-America Honors At NCAA Indoor Championships

Sisson earned All-America honors for the third straight indoor season.



ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Senior Emily Sisson (Chesterfield, Mo.) of the Providence College women's track and field team earned eighth in the 5000 meter run at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships today, Friday, March 14 in Albuquerque, N.M.



Sisson finished the race eighth overall with a time of 16:34.18. Sisson's time clinched First Team All-America Honors (top-eight finishers) and marked her third career indoor All-America honor.



The women will continue with action at the championships tomorrow. Senior Laura Nagel (Napier, New Zealand) will compete in the 3000 meter run set to start at 7:55 MT (9:55 ET).
