Providence’s Thomas O’Neill Named Corvias ECAC Men’s Cross Country Rookie Of The Week


Thomas O’Neill won his first collegiate race as a Friar.


Providence, R.I. – It was announced on Wednesday, Sept. 3 that freshman Thomas O’Neill (Middletown, N.J.) was named Corvias ECAC Men’s Cross Country Rookie of the Week.


O’Neill earned the honor after winning his first collegiate race as a Friar at the University of New Hampshire on Saturday, Aug. 30. He finished the 6km course in a time of 18:32.90 and helped the team win the meet.


The Friars will return to action on Saturday, Sept. 13 at Stony Brook University.
