Providence College Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Teams Earn All-Academic Honors
Sarah Collins, Lauren Mullins, Catarina Rocha and Katie Lembo also earned All-Academic individual honors.

NEW YORK, N.Y. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the All-Academic team and individuals for the 2015 season today (Feb. 19). The Providence men’s and women’s cross country teams both earned the All-Academic team honors. In order to be named an All-Academic team, the squad must achieve over a cumulative 3.0 GPA.

Additionally, on the women’s side, four Friars earned All-Academic individual honors, including seniors Sarah Collins (Basel, Switzerland) and Lauren Mullins (Binghamton, N.Y.), junior Catarina Rocha (Peabody, Mass.) and sophomore Katie Lembo (Penfield, N.Y.). In order for a student-athlete to qualify for the honor, they must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 and finish in the top-25 at regionals or as an All-American at the NCAA Championship.
