Providence's Julian Oakley Runs Sub-Four Minute Mile At 109th NYRR Millrose Games
Julian Oakley clocks 3:58.34 to finish seventh in the Armory Mile at the 109th NYRR Millrose Games.

NEW YORK, N.Y. - Providence College track star Julian Oakley (Tauranga, New Zealand) ran his second sub-four minute mile at the 109th NYRR Millrose Games yesterday (Feb. 20) at the Armory in New York, N.Y.

The senior was up against several professional athletes and clocked in at 3:58.34 to finish seventh in the Armory Mile.

Oakley and the Friars will return to action at the BIG EAST Championships next weekend (Feb. 26 and 27) at Ocean Breeze Park in Staten Island, N.Y.
