Providence Women’s Cross Country Remains Ranked In Regional and National Polls
The Friars’ rankings did not change from the last release.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The USTFCCCA released the second National and Regional Rankings polls of the regular season on Tuesday, Sept. 19. The latest poll of the season has the Providence women ranked seventh.

In the regional rankings, both teams’ rankings remain unchanged with the women ranked first and the men ranked fourth.

There was no change to the top eight ranked team in this release of the national rankings. The teams ranked in front of Providence continue to be Colorado (1), Oregon (2), New Mexico (3), Michigan (4), Stanford (5), and North Carolina State (6).

The Providence men dropped out of the national rankings in this edition of the national rankings. The Friar men look to jump back into the rankings with a strong performance at the Battle in Beantown.

The Friars will race next at the Boston College Battle in Beantown Invitational on Friday, Sept. 22. Providence will race full squads for the first time at the Battle in Beantown.
